English 162 SLO Assessment & Course Improvement Space

The English 162 course is the first course in the developmental reading series of courses. Student enter this course by taking the English Accuplacer Placement test. Because this is the first course in the series, students by default end up in this course. Therefore, students taking this course comes at varied reading levels. The students' reading grade-levels are very low. The average grade-level range that this course should cater to is from the 4th-6th grade levels.
